MUSINGS ON FOLLOWUPS

Nothing stresses me out more than sending an email advocating for this brand to a potential account who has stated a disinterest or resistance to working together.

This is especially true when the reasoning behind not working together comes from a place outside of the direct relationship between our businesses.

I believe this is a trap driven by anxiety and not an acceptable reason to dissuade yourself from sending that followup email.

Self advocacy at any level is not an affront. It's simply a statement of passion and love for the product you're presenting, the brand you're representing, or the person you believe yourself to be.

This is a lesson I am working to learn every day so that I can get out of the way of my business's growth. Today was a success in this endeavor whether it results in a new account or not.

Celebrate those wins. Send that followup.

Much love,

Noah
